Effective date: July 5, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Brightsignal Labs LLC (“Brightsignal Labs,” “we,” “us”), a Florida limited liability company, handles personal information. It applies to brightsignallabs.com and to the applications, products, and services we operate that link to this policy (together, the “Services”). Where an individual product provides its own privacy notice, that notice governs for that product.

This website

brightsignallabs.com does not use cookies, analytics, advertising trackers, or third-party scripts, and does not ask you for personal information. The only data stored on your device is your light or dark theme preference, saved in your browser’s local storage; it never leaves your device and is not used to identify you. Our hosting provider maintains standard server logs (such as IP address and request time) for security and reliability; these are kept for a limited period and are not used to identify you.

We collect the minimum we need to operate each product.

How we use information

We use personal information to provide and operate the Services, respond to support requests, maintain safety and security, comply with legal obligations, and improve our products. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Third-party platform data

Where a product integrates with third-party platforms, we access and use platform data only as permitted by the platform’s policies, including Meta’s Platform Terms and Developer Policies. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not transfer platform data to third parties except as necessary to provide the Services, comply with law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with notice to you, and we do not use it to serve advertisements.

Sharing

We share personal information only with service providers who process it on our behalf under contract (such as hosting and email providers), when required by law, to protect our rights and users’ safety, or in connection with a business transfer.

Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here, then delete or de-identify it. Residual copies in encrypted backups are purged on a rolling basis within 90 days.

Deleting your data

You can request deletion of your personal information at any time. See Data Deletion for instructions, or email contact@brightsignallabs.com. We complete verified deletion requests within 30 days.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email contact@brightsignallabs.com. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by applicable law. We do not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Children

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we handle, including encryption in transit.

International visitors

We are based in the United States and process information there. If you use the Services from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the effective date above; material changes to a product’s data practices are communicated in the product.
